BML2 IS LEADING THE WAY

Ten years on, BML2 has been given a green aspect to proceed further.

Its Sussex and Kent phases are relatively easily-achievable and the London phase is in abeyance for the moment.

Lewes MP Maria Caulfield has been extraordinarily helpful and last week submitted the bid to the DFT as part of its ‘Restoring Your Railway Fund’ for 1960s lost links.

The closure of Lewes-Uckfield was a vindictive political decision but thanks to a 50-year campaign and local authority support we can put it right.
