The Wealden Line Campaign have just published their latest Newsletter, Missing Link Issue 60 Summer 2022.

It provides an indepth look at Transport for the South East (TfSE) plans which affect the Wealden Line from Hurst Green to Uckfield. This also includes committing to reinstating what used to be the main rail connection between the counties of East Sussex and Kent. 

This is not only about increasing rail capacity and resilience between the South Coast and London, but opening up the network to new and profitable markets for the railway which will overwhelmingly strengthen the Wealden Line's future.

The Uckfield line will be transformed from being something of a dead-end branch to a truly vibrant part of a profit-making network, capable of properly-serving the South East - as it was always meant to be !!

The 4-page colour A4 Newsletter is now available for downloading in order to view and/or print. For clarity it is essential that a colour inkjet or laser printer is used rather than a mono printer.
